The drive to win has always been inside me, i don't want to just become a worker in the rat race trying to feed my own ricebowl and always worrying about the next paycheck. I want to be able to shape the world, or some part of the world with my ideas, and i want to be able to improve and excel in whatever i do.

Mustafa Centre Roadshow Day 3

Guess what! I'm back from the roadshow at 1am in the morning. LOL.

Anyway, just to blog a bit, because i'm feeling bored -- not alot of people look at my blog anyway so :P

Break was the only fun part of the entire roadshow -- i could even read my BTT notes there, lol. Went to explore part of Farrer Park. I've just realised these few days that even though Farrer Park is a very "glamourous" name, the place is the equivalent of Little India. WHOOPEE-DOO, :X

3 days down, 7 to go.

Btw, my boss is the best taxi receipt claiming boss ever, he's going to see $300 worth of receipts by the 10th day. LOL. Thanks boss! :D

Went down to Mustafa centre today for the setting up of equipment and stuff for my work tomorrow. Guess i'm not going swimming this friday again. haiz. Let's hope i can read up more on the theory and pass it with flying colours o_o.

Also, guess what? The boss is going to play some hindi bollywood movie on 6 HDTVs there.. i think im going to come back shaking and nodding my head like an indian :S

Anyway, i'm handing up my AIGD assignment later at 2pm (friday) :( I've still got a lot to do! But then, i still have a bit of time to spare to blog. :P

Anyway, went to school today with dear! <3

Was supposed to attend the Temasek League Series 2 Captains Ball competition to support our team and stuff but i kind of ended up tending to the club room.

Went opposite to tapau chicken rice also, but EH, the auntie today go happy hour, store closed :(

So therefore there was no nice chicken rice! Ended up tapau-ing from the nearest chicken rice store which was next to KFC. Eh, the chicken abit like kampong chicken leh. Chewy! But i'm not complaining :D

Also, hung around the clubroom for a very very long time, and even attended a birthday celebration (HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMERLYN!)...

Your cake smelt nice! Sorry i didn't eat =X

So yeah, after listening to a song today, i kind of got back my motivation that was kind of lost in 2.1.

...at Macs, and i have work to do. Don't feel like going home until i've finished it, because i need to hand it up tomorrow :/ I won't be able to do it at home as well, with distractions all around me :\ Hung out with Ahmad, Yongyi, Jerven and Wee Yen until 10+ in school some more. Talked about alot of stuff, and went crazy over the fitness corner. OOWH and i nearly owned myself there too :/

Sitting all alone here, and thinking to myself -- Even though i don't know where this is going, but i still feel empty somehow, without her talking to me now (you're asleep, babe) -- you are the cutest girl i've ever seen, a talkative one at that, and somehow, just so elusive at times. Someone told me something about you today, but i still believe in you, because i'm just too trusting, and so, so gullible.

...thinking hard on what to blog. I can't think of anything! LOL.

So, here goes nothing -- Well after sending someone (halfway :P) back home, i met Ahmad, Jonathan and Zhan Jie at Bedok Interchange.

This resulted in Ahmad /ignore-ing me for the rest of the journey, Jon playing along (and thank god Zhan Jie didn't take the bus, or he probably would have joined in) and me trying to get them to talk... TO ME! LOL.

Went back home, and asked Jerven and Yongyi if they wanted to go to Macs @ Rivervale Plaza.. they agreed :X and so we ended up spending like half the entire night at MacDonalds, because of the sudden rain and us slacking around. xD

We also ended up taking shelter at YongYi's house because Jerven wanted to watch soccer at his house ("15 minutes left!"), live. :P We then proceeded to camp at his house until morning, which was when we all fell asleep under that freezing air-con of Yong Yi's, can you imagine 2 prawns (Wk, Yy) and 1 happy Jerven (<< WITH A BLANKET) in Yong Yi's room? xD

So yeah. Now i'm back home, safe and sound, and warm, LOL.

So keep learning, Kevin, we're always behind you :D I also appreciate you sacrificing your time to go out with us (even though you have soccer training, sometimes, and other commitments) on some of the days that we go out to just, slack, walk around, catcha movie, and a whole lot of other stuff!

But i went for Peifen's chalet (which was made earlier because Ah Boon couldn't make it) today!

Arrived at around 10, 10 PM :X because i had something to do earlier on! Met Yi Cong, Boris and gang at the arcade at Downtown East's E!hub first before heading back to the chalet!

They then proceeded to make me drink "Iced Coffee" (IT TASTED LIKE BITTER WATER YICONG) and a very delicious cake :D

Overall Ratings of the Day : Coffee 1/10, Cake 9/10, thank you, thank you! xD

I didn't sleep a wink again. Let's hope my sleeping time is not going to be affected by this. :P

Went for it today at 9.. (thanks Jon for the shirt!)

Basically we were taught how to show the freshies what they need to do to login into TP's system and stuff today, and with the usual ice breaking (always useful, :P) in the morning, we got to know each other! (Although some of us already do xD)

We were also "refreshed" with TP and IIT school's Mass Dance moves, with the school song and handsigns included!

Went to his BBQ party yesterday at East Coast! Arrived at around 7:50PM at his BBQ pit, and i realised most of them hadn't reached yet -_-, except for Jun Ming's friends and a few others that i knew, like Guan Wei (he also thought he was late), Honghui and Chong Ee.

Angus was the cook again! But this time Seng Guan was using his Subway® expertise to serve us drinks. LOL!

Speaking of drinks, a few of them bought vodka and whisky to drink! I think most of us got a bit high after that, Charlie even got himself injured in a photo taking session. (YES, YES YES YES xD)

We also stayed at the pit until quite late (fooling, joking, walking, cycling around), until 2am before going home! (...and having a takeaway at the nearby McDonalds before cabbing out of East Coast)

Anyway, let's hope i'm able to get some pictures from liuyun and company to post up here. :P

I'm back to blogging! (Or so i hope. LOL)

Anyway, i'm hooked on a korean drama these few days, and i haven't really been sleeping much. :P

So today is YongYi's birthday! We're going to celebrate a bit by walking around, talking about random stuff, and then head up to Jerven's to get drunk again! (Let's hope they'll let me off the game this time, all this drinking this month is going to kill my liver and throat :P)

...Anyway, here's a big birthday wish to YongYi - study hard, play hard, and live happy man! :D

Any job recommendations?! Anyway, i'm trying to keep myself occupied during the holidays, so im spending quite a lot instead! D:

Haven't really got pictures, but went out with Yongyi and friends to Tampines Mall to watch a movie on Tuesday! Watched Suspect X, quite a nice show, very intruguing and at the end, a little bit touching. The ending was a bit unexpected though, but now Wee Yen won't stop saying that the Four Color Theorem wasn't a beautiful proof. (You'll know when you watch it :P)

Camped over at Jerven's after that, Metal Gear Solid 4 is fun :D Played around 18 hours at his house... 6 hours of it was spent sleeping :P

Went swimming today too! :D

Met someone that i haven't spoken to in a long time since Secondary 1 (or even kept in contact) today on the way back home. It really brings back memories now that i think of it, but yeah, its good to see that he's changing for the better.

We talked to each other while i was walking home from the MRT, and he asked me a few questions, but the last question he asked and replied before i walked away was the part where i felt happy, yet sad for him.

He asked me, "Where are you studying now?"

I replied to him, "Temasek Poly."

"Not bad."

Then as i walked away, he shouted from behind, "加油, 前进!"

I gave him the thumbs up.

I've never heard him say that before in my whole secondary school life, since he was often lazy and playful instead of doing studying.

That's what amazes me, sometimes a person makes a mistake, they pick themselves up instead of declaring themselves hopeless and sink deeper into bad company and despair.

..and if he had done this sooner, maybe i would have seen him in a Polytechnic or ITE school this upcoming intake, which was what made me feel sad for him. It took him nearly 4 years to get back up onto the right track.

To that friend, "加油, 前进!" to you too. Let's hope you do better this time.

Ate at Seoul Garden today with to celebrate my dear cousin, Angus' birthday! Happy 17th :D

Met them at Takashimaya today. (I SAW ELLEEN!) Ate alot of funny funny stuff (BECAUSE CHARLIE ADDED THEM) and Yong Qin was very nice, cooking everything, and then not being able to finish everything :P Dunno why, but i ate very little but still felt very full :S

Anyway, something interesting happened during the lunch. HMM. *points to Angus* xD I think you all can find out something from the rest of the group who went :P

Went for LAN at Paradiz after that, played "Left 4 Dead" with the guys, its a pretty fun co-operative game :D Had alot of fun admist alot of shouts and screams :P

Went home after that!

Went for supper at Buangkok after sleeping for half a day after Yongyi's "studying" marathon session!

Met up with Angus, Elleen, Fidelis, JingYang, Jillson and Guanwei there :D

Ate and chatted for a bit, then we went on to get screened by a few policemen for playing basketball late at night near my house. LOL!

Haiz, sad case. Hung out for a bit at Compass Point afterwards, and then we all walked Fidelis back home, and most of them cabbed back to their homes. Poor Angus didn't bring his keys, so he stayed over at my house :D Hahaha!

I am now using the laptop to blog because Angus took the desktop away from me. :P

Um.. i think i was going to fall asleep anytime on the floor. NOW I UNDERSTAND HOW YOU FEEL FIDELIS. LOL!

Anyway, i didn't really finish my IDES, i didn't shade =/ I wonder how many marks that's going to cost me... but still, i'm glad one of the assignments is over, finally!

Still have CMSK, CMSY and Psychology to finish though. =(

I fell asleep in OOGP again, anyway.. 5 min nap, i swear! But Jonathan Chee caught me. =X LOL.

Learnt quite a lot today. I think i'll have to start revising lecture notes and tutorials for the upcoming tests. :S
